Founded in 2008, the Vanderbilt Political Review is Vanderbilt’s first and only nonpartisan political journal.
The objectives of the organization are as follows:
- To provide an academic journal to the Vanderbilt community that serves as a political forum for free expression, a free exchange of ideas, dissemination of news, and an outlet for creative work
- To create awareness and encourage discourse on political issues and events
- To provide an opportunity for students to learn and gain competency in mass communications skills, including leadership, management, writing, editing, and publication
